Liberdade é um valor sem preço. Só a democracia pode garanti-la. Sempre corremos riscos de errar em nossas escolhas, mas nada se compara em não poder fazê-las. Até Jesus Cristo dá a liberdade a seus discípulos de segui-lo ou não. Ele faz o convite, mas escolher entre o bem e o mal é uma decisão de cada um. Portanto, Jesus pregava de forma democrática. Então, por coerência, quem se diz cristão, deve andar ao lado da democracia.
Nosso país clama por paz, mas cada vez estamos mais longe dela, politicamente. Ano após ano, vivemos uma polarização que vai muito além de siglas partidárias. Na verdade, o que existe são diferentes posicionamentos , diferentes valores frente à vida. Ou eu sou includente ou eu sou excludente. Eis a questão!
Que possamos preservar a democracia, acima de tudo!
